I had a great time visiting with my sisters and sister in laws in Utah. The main reason why I went to Utah was for Lana Nords baby blessing. Next time all us girls get together we will have to leave the babysitting to the guys and just hang out as girls without children on our side. That might be in a couple of years. Anyways, I wish Carolyn was there, it was a little too far for her to go from Costa Rica.

I didn't get much sleep. Xander was up a few times, I think it is because he is teething. Then I looked up and notice Keaton in our room, so I walked him back to his bed. About an hour later, 5am, I heard some talking, so I got up to behold Keaton in bed with Grandma Z . It was quite a funny site, she was reading a magazine and Keaton was reading a magazine, then Keaton pops his head out from the magazine and said, " I reading my magazine, mommy," At this point I am grumpy and tired and I am one who needs beauty sleep, so I said,"Come on lets get into your own bed" Keaton with attitude, "I am reading my magazine with grandma". I guess Chris must of heard us, so he came in and grabbed Keaton and put him in his own bed. Grandma loved it and if it was 7am I would've left him, but I didnt' want to deal with a grumpy boy in the morning.
Halloween was a blast. Jenine, James, Mercedez and Trini were down in Palm Desert, so we took a quick trip to see them. Unfortunately, Chris had to work so he missed out on all the fun. (Side note, I am just glad that he does have work and is a hard worker!!)
Adorable cousins the boys have and they had a blast hanging out. Xander loved grabbing Trini's witch hat.
We hung out with Jenine and the girls all day. Keaton got to go trick or treating with the big kids in Palm Desert. After about a block or so as the older kids went to knock on a door Keaton sat on the driveway and said,"I am taking a rest." It was Auntie Jenines mission to load Keaton{Mommy ;)} up with a lot of candy. I don't know who benefited more Keaton or me because I am in control of his halloween bag, I think I have eaten more of it than he has.
Xander got stuck in the stroller, anytime I would let him out he wanted to take apart everyones Malibu lights, so most of his trick or treating was spent in the stroller.
The candy didn't just stop in the neighborhoods of Palm Desert, we went to a 3 ward trunk or treat at the church and I think at one point Auntie Jenine took Keatons bag and left him in the dust as she lapped him to get more and more candy.
Family is always fun to hang out with. I get the extra added bonus since they kept Keaton occupied.
Pumpkins Galore at the zoo as we join in with some of the crowd for the pumpkin festival. I think the boys had the funnest time with the pumpkins. Xander was trying to knock all of them off the bails of hay and Keaton was climbing on them or using it as a slide. They sure do keep me on my toes.
People were all adoring Xander in his superman costume because this kid can move and as he was walkin around or running that cape was flapping in the air, he was having a fun time.
Keaton, is wearing the same costume as last year, but at this age, he doesn't care. He loved having a whistle(which I did have to take away because he wouldn't stop blowing it) and having a gun. He was walking up to everyone to make sure that they kney he was a Police Man.
A few weeks ago the boys and I were out in front waiting to go to church and I saw Xander playing with a rock, but I didn't think anything of it, until I saw him moving it. I was a little too late in getting to him. The rock landed right on his big toe and took the whole nail off. It was a big mess. He drank 2 8oz. bottles of milk and then he calmed down, I felt so awful. I took him to urgent care because I wasn't sure if it was broken, but all was o.k. He went a few days without walking,but he is chasing Keaton everywhere.
Xander has great ears because he can hear that dishwasher open up from the other side of the house and he runs has fast as he can to get into it before I close it. He beat me to it this time. He was so proud of himself climbing up on it. If you notice, there is silverware all over, Xander had fun throwing it everywhere.
Keaton is working on his car. He surprises me everyday, he just popped that car up there and told me he was a mechanic.
Keaton loves to talk on the phone, which isn't surprising because this kid will tell everyone his life story and I mean everyone and he always wants to answer it. I was talking to Chris and Keaton had to talk to his Daddy. Like father like son. If you notice Keaton is in the car and he was actually driving it and Chris is in his car on the way home from work. Keaton talked to Chris for 20min. Is there a law against driving while talking on the cellphone?
A man who is supportive, loving, kind and caring. He loves getting down and dirty with the boys. He likes to be a boy himself and play all the time, that must be where Keaton and Xander get their energy. He is a wonderful Father. Fun to be around, always helping others and will do anything for his family. He is a great role model. Someone who I can talk to, someone who listens. Someone who always will do my "honey do list". He is a great cook and will even eat my cooking and always tries one of my new recipes. He is very clean and even does the laundry, when time permits him. He will wake up at night if one of the boys are crying so I can rest even when he has to wake up bright and early in the morning for work. He puts the boys to bed and reads to them each night. He works everyday so that I can be home with the boys. He is the ideal MAN!
