I just got my new bike from REI. Yeah!! Now I just have to learn how to ride it. It is my first bike I have ever bought and my first road bike (that means skinny tires) and it didn't come cheap. I got to ride it for the first time last night and it is fast. Watch out for those doing the Admiral triathlon I am going to come flying down the road leaving, I hope, at least someone in my dust. Haha!
I am hoping to take a simple class offered by REI to learn to take care of the bike. I may know how to peddle and kind of balance, but ask me to change a flat or understand the gears and my answer is, "Haah?" So I now embark on my next step in preparing for triathlons.
They are so precious when they sleep,they are little angels. What is this.... there is one still awake. Mommy says,"Get back into bed." Keaton runs to bed because he knows he has been caught.
1 down and 1 to go. Naps are my time for freedom to either get stuff done or take one myself. Most of the time I take one otherwise I don't function. The key is to get them both down where there is at least some sleeping time that overlaps. Well, Keaton would rather play with his toys today. Since I know he still has a little bit of a cold, I made him lay in his bed, lets pray he will fall asleep before Xander wakes up, otherwise he will have to deal with a GRUMPY Mommy.
